3D Glasses Recommended for Viewing

See below for instructions on making or buying 3D Glasses

DIY 3D Glasses

NASA Provides a printable stencil for the frames of 3D Glasses, available here, to be used with red and blue (cyan) acetate sheets.

In following their instructions, we found that the comics did not work immediately, and we had to do some experimentation.

The materials we used were Creatology Primary Acetate Sheets, available from Michael's. We experimented with different combinations of the acetate sheets for each eye - when doing this yourself, the blue ink should disappear when viewed through the blue lens, and the red ink should disappear when viewed through the red lens.

For the red lens, we had best results using 3 of the red acetate sheets layered on top of each other. For the blue lens, we had best results using 2 of the green acetate sheets and 1 of the blue acetate sheets layered on top of each other.

When recreating this, you may find that different combinations of the acetate sheet colors work best for you.

Commercial 3D Glasses

Alternatively, commercially made 3D Glasses are easy to find and cheap to purchase. When buying glasses, you should look for red and cyan anaglyph glasses.
